Yeah I have also considered that, but the bot is only online when I run it from my computer. So by the time I wake up until I sleep I usually have my computer running, but the rest of the time the trivia chat would be dead which is why I thought of off side-by-side chats on the index page so that everyone knows when the bot is online.

But if people want a separate page that's fine too, and maybe use the toggle switch I made to add a little icon (like for Curve Fever) when HaxBot is online.

Yeah that's the one. There seemed to be quite a few guys with backgrounds (possible mods) but it's worth a try.

Anyway thanks for the feedback, I like to give the people what they want :3

RE: HaxBot™ Under Development - Winky - 06-02-2014

HaxBot is now working well! Thanks to Kuma for helping to test it with me, and to MK Essien for supplying the current questions in use and providing tips for future improvements.

Unforuntately, due Chatango's spam filter, it will only be used for trivia questions (as a lot of you spam "https"). The initial plans were a bit too ambitious, but there are a few other ideas we have in order to improve the trivia:

- HaxBot states the answer when a question is skipped (done)
- HaxBot skips the question when 5 or more users say "skip"
- HaxBot records the total number of questions each user has answered correctly (done)
- State when HaxBot is disconnected from the server
- A button to hide/show the trivia chat (similar to having trivia on a separate page) (no need as trivia now has its own page)

Also if anyone would like to improve the relevance of the questions (e.g. less questions about movies from the 1940's and more to do with football, science, mathematics or something you can actually guess), then feel free to send me a list of questions and answers in PM or in notepad form.

RE: HaxBot™ - Winky - 07-01-2015

We have been working hard for the past few days on HaxBot and with special help from Kuma we managed to add some extra features.

All of the new commands are explained in the OP.

RE: HaxBot™ - Administrator - 07-01-2015

Thanks to @Kuma we now have another function for HaxBot™:

- /keywords: searches a user's posts on HBANZ.org for their top 15 most commonly used terms (e.g. /keywords winky)

RE: HaxBot™ - Administrator - 07-01-2015

New function added for HaxBot™:

- /messages: searches a user's recorded Chatango history (as of 07/01/2015) for their top 15 most commonly used terms (e.g. /messages winkys)

Other changes: "/users" now displays the names of the users connected to the room (instead of just how many users are connected). This may be more convenient for those on mobile devices to see who is online.

It only lists the first 10
