What are the rules on farming? Like is there a limit on how many times you can beat Maxie & Fank?   


there should be an option to play unranked games. rn dopesayo is around 1250 elo, i wanna 1v1 him but sometimes its not worth risking 20 elo if i lose to only win 5 elo if i win since our ranks are so far apart.

this ELO system benefits those who dont play often but thats just how ELOs gotta work unfortunately. thats why i think unrated games wuld be nice.

Its probably too late for it now but I think other players shouldn't be able to gain or lose ELO on someone playing their first 10 games, this would prevent people either gaining or losing a lot of ELO on someone whos ability varies greatly from the default 1200

Yes I agree and have thought of something like this, but it seems like there will always be a compromise whenever the ELO gain/lose are not equal. This creates opportunity for people to either throw games or take turns winning/losing, with the overall resulting in both players gaining ELO. I have a lot of similar ideas but they all have some logical flaw or potential for abuse. If someone can think of a fair solution to this it would be great..

Individual ELO Profile pages have now been launched! On your page you should see head-to-head summaries, filtered matches that you have played and an overall summary.

To view your page, go to https://hbanz.org/forum/elo.php and click on your name.

Dear frints,

You may have noticed the cucumber room.

This is a 1 vs. 1 room which is hosted on the multi-ball map. The map has two balls, and due to this the score limit is raised to 5.
I have already tested it with a few of you, and it seems to be (at least for me) more fun than Classic and much less cheesy.
You have to decide how to manage two balls, and how to prioritize scoring over stopping your opponent from getting a ball to your goal before you do!
I feel like it requires more strategy and IQ and might provide a more representative view of rankings based on the player's actual skill.

For now, you are free to play without worry. Your Elo in this room is temporary. When you log in, it is loaded from the Classic room - but there are no further recorded replays or match statistics. Leaving the room will reset your Elo to what it is in the Classic room.
If anyone complains to me about why their Elo was reset when they rejoined, I will reset your Classic Elo to 500.
It is currently up for testing and to gauge your interest - so please provide feedback on whether or not this should be developed further.

Multiball server now has full match statistics like the Classic room, and there is a separate page for it too: https://hbanz.org/forum/elomulti.php

Also my advice is to be careful not to AFK as a 5-0 loss will be brutal.
